We’re in Rarotonga, which feels like our second home these days, having a busy time doing very little. Hence the ominous silence on the media/political/current affairs front.
Relax – the Patron Saint of Unpopular Causes will be back with you shortly.

They also axed your local pharmacy.
JC: Not so. The plucky little Herne Bay Pharmacy has moved round the corner, by the Herne Bay Post Office. (Old Fraser John Hairdressing). Already up and running and dispensing prescriptions. Well done!

Yes, a triumph for vox pop. I wonder what sort of custom the planned replacement pharmacy will get.
JC: Not ours!

Be careful if you are flying Jetstar. You know how much they dislike smart-arse media celebs

“Be careful if you are flying Jetstar. You know how much they dislike smart-arse media celebs ;-)”
As long as you don’t behave like an obnoxious jerk and make loud, insulting and unfunny comments (as Martin Devlin did) you should be okay.
BE: Don’t know if you’ve noticed that the Press Council upheld Devlin’s complaint about the Herald’s coverage of this story. The fact is, as I wrote in a post at the time http://brianedwardsmedia.co.nz/?s=Devlin that Devlin did nothing to deserve the treatment he got from Jetstar at all.
