Profile of Leader of the Free World

image

Donald Trump, President of the United States, leader of the free world, dangerous psychopath. No need to go on. Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words.

  1. In an earlier post you wrote “I take great care to ensure that what I’m writing is factually correct” and then you write that Trump is a dangerous psychopath. You do not know the man. You rely on the fake news being fed to all of us.

    • I see you’re using Trump’s own term ‘fake news’. These days it’s pretty easy to check on the validity of almost any claim or statement printed or reported by the electronic media. Trump’s problem is not fake news but accurate news that reflects poorly on him and his presidency.

  2. !

  3. At the risk of invoking cries of, “Godwin’s Law”, I can’t help noticing how Trump is either circumventing or replacing the checks and balances whilst posturing for the media. For example, the Joint Chiefs’s of Staff representative (military) on the top committee of the National Security Council has been replaced by one of Trump’s creatures, a civilian, while Trump insulted one of his closest allies.
If that’s not enough, there is now a “National Day of Patriotic Devotion” I kid you not: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2017/01/24/2017-01798/national-day-of-patriotic-devotion
I recall another dangerous psychopath/clown, this one with a silly moustache ranting and raving to the fawning adoration of his followers and the mirth of his enemies.
Then it was against Jews, now it’s Muslims: after all, every cause needs a common enemy, real or imagined.
How soon before the US military will be required to swear an oath of allegiance to Trump, personally?
Back then, all of a sudden, it was too late to do anything and it didn’t work out well for the world.
    The parallels are frightening.

  4. A bit overboard there, John. For a start, every President/PM/CEO surrounds himself with his own henchmen….you’d be a fool to imagine otherwise.

Hitler railed against the Jews, as they were perceived as robbing the Fatherland of all its wealth. Trump is campaigning on the not unnoticed obs that of all the terrorist actions involving the mass slaughter of innocents, almost all of them in the last 4 or 5 decades have been perped by Muslims.

You think there are similarities? REALLY??? Eedgit.

    • There are none so blind as those who will not see.
There is now no representative of the military on the top committee of the National Security Council. Did you not notice that?
There is now a National Day of Patriotic Devotion. Ha ha ha, let’s all roll around laughing while Trump gets on with his agenda.
Hitler did what Trump is beginning to do to consolidate his power.
You keep on with your fingers in your ears going, “La la la.” and it’ll all go away.
I hope this eedgit is not in a position to say “I told you so.” but I fear I will be.
I bet the turkeys are really happy about the way they’re treated before Christmas.

  5. Lovely to hear from you, Gentleman. I’ll continue to monitor the site but, if you want to, you can join in the much wider discussion on my Facebook page. Your input would also raise the tone! Cheers

    • I agree the tone on your FB page could do with raising. Not sure that Zinc and JR would be keen on going there however!

  6. Hello Brian

I have never in my life ‘accessed’ (is that the word?) Facebook and I have no intention of doing so, especially as we are just at the point at which the more aware users of electronic communication media and instruments are starting to realise that they are now trapped in a communications cul de sac the main purpose of which is designed to sell them stuff they neither need nor want (if they are honest with themselves – a rare commodity in today’s world). As someone who has never owned a cell phone and has no wish to do so I derive a certain eldritch entertainment from the realisation by numerous and increasing numbers of those who do that they’ve been had by hucksters. I guess the world is never short of suckers but I hadn’t realised until the last couple of decades that there were so many of them. No doubt these are the same people who fell for neo-liberal economics

    • And I though I was the only one in the whole wide world who didn’t use Facebook. To me, it’s pointless time wasting designed for those who want to brag, with pictures, about what they had for dinner. Thank goodness they don’t publish pictures of the end result – but give it time.
My son bought me a $17 cell phone and asked that I carry it at all times after I had a brush with the Grim Reaper. It’s prepay and costs me about $15 a year.
So please, Brian, keep using this blog otherwise you’ll miss out on my comments. Come to think of it, how much of a threat is that?

  7. This Blog does everything better than facebook !

  8. Similarities between Trump and Key and the way they communicate, facebook, twitter, texting, circus media shows and general publicly fueled dribbling nonsense. Thank God (even if he/she doesn’t exist) that Key is no longer PM. I am sure a huge sigh of relief will be heard from the USA when Trump is gone.

  9. Another observation, Key departs, and so apparently does Kimbo. Twitter? Facebook? …….. Trumpzone?

  10. Kat,

The answer is obvious. Kimbo is Key!
