Terrible Advice for Bill English that may be Spot On

IMG_1159

Here’s how you look at the moment, Bill:

Tired
Ineffectual
Beaten
Nice
Down
Pleasant
Resigned
Polite
Lost
Moderate
Bewildered
Civil
Unsure
Reasonable
Wet

It’s not working, Sunshine. This girl is having you for breakfast.

What to do? Well, I said it before and I’ll say it again: Man up!

And here’s your new motto, free, gratis and for nothing. (Practice by shouting it from your ninth floor Beehive window.)

I’M MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE!

I’M MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE!

I’M MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE!

It’s not original and it didn’t end too well for the guy who first used it. But he went too far. And Bill mate, it isn’t in your nature to go too far.

What have you got to lose? Being Leader of the Opposition is a shit job. Just ask anyone who’s been there.

OK! “I’M MAD AS HELL…..”

  1. Even though he said he wouldn’t he can only resign once “this girl” finishes her breakfast. There will be no getting up again.

  2. Just follow Labours example and get a new leader,Theres still time -you can do it

  3. What’s he mad about and what isn’t he going to take any more?

If anyone should be shouting it, it should be the who have been left behind by the National government’s economic “achievements”.

  4. I saw you on the AM show the other day , Brian, and I say ( with respect) that most of the visual symptoms you apply to Bill could easily apply to you?…

    • What a ridiculous, gratuitous, comment, Rob. Brian is nearly 80 years of age – 24 years older than Bill English. And, he’s not trying to get voters to give him a fourth term in government.

      You owe him an apology.

  5. I thought it was illegal for Bill to bribe voters as he has today offering thousands to build/buy a house? No wonder he looks as guilty as he did when he backed Joyce’s lie as recently as this morning.

    • I’d hope it was illegal, but either way, how is that (or indeed is it?) different from promising say, Winston, $40m for bridges in his electorate, in exchange for his support in converting a minority party into a government for the next three years?

  6. Canute similarly, was spectacularly unsuccessful in turning back the tide!
